CLEAR SOLID STATE PREAMP

The Clear Solid State Preamp is a clean-sounding preamplifier inspired by the classic Fender designs. Its Tone Stack ensures smooth interaction with pedals, making it ideal for use directly in line or with a power amplifier.

🔧 Usage Options

1 – Direct Line / Recording
Allows connecting guitar, bass, or pedalboard directly in line, using either the Cab Sim XLR or Cab Sim P10 outputs — both featuring active cabinet simulation. Perfect for recording or amp-less setups.

2 – Power Amplifier Connection
Functions as a standalone preamp when connected directly to a power amp or to the return input of an amplifier via the Pre Out output (without speaker simulation).
In this mode, it can be paired with the Granade Tone Ink or any other power amp and cabinet.

3 – “Tone Shaping” Mode
Can be placed mid-chain in your pedal setup to act as a buffer with EQ control, using the Pre Out output and keeping it always on.
This setup provides fine-tuning control over your overall tone.

🎛️ Connections

1. PRE OUT → Output carrying only the preamp signal, without cabinet/speaker simulation (Cab Sim). Connector: ¼" (P10).

2. CAB OUT (XLR or ¼") → Output with cabinet simulation always active. Connectors: XLR/Cannon or ¼" (P10).

3. LED → Indicates circuit power; remains lit while powered.

4. ON/OFF SWITCH → Bypasses only the preamp section.
